Client Challenge

Our client was having difficulty with delivery of small or large, regular or time critical after-market automotive parts stored at locations across a wide area.

eBox Solution

eBox drop stations were installed at customers' locations. Customers order auto parts during the day by 5 pm and eBox picks up from supplier's drop station and delivers to the customer's drop station during the night. Unattended drop stations have electronic lock technology eliminating physical key management hassles and building security issues. Data from driver handhelds and customer access cards used to generate proof of delivery reporting. The security level of the eBox drop stations was customized to provide additional security.

  Drop stations installed at supplier and customer locations.   Parts are ordered by 5 pm. Supplier places parts in drop station for pick-up, sorting and cross-dock transfer.   Parts are delivered to customer drop station by 8 am next day   Driver handheld records delivery date, time & ID.   Access card records retrieval date & time.
